On Sunday 18th September the Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club visited Langley Dam for the first time.
Eight ladies including two novice anglers plus two honorary members attended the event and most caught fish.
Deborah Ford landed the biggest bag with six beautiful Trout, closely followed by Lucy Bowden with four fish, Jane Johnston with three and Margaret Ward and Lynne Gatiss with one each. All Trout weighed between 2 – 3lb and all ladies experienced near misses with Trout rising to dry flies.
Club Chairman, Lucy Bowden said;
“This was our first trip to Langley
Dam and we had a smashing time. Most of us had sport and the fish fought extremely well. Langley is just one of the most beautiful fisheries around with such friendly managers and anglers alike… we will definitely be back.”
